ESIC approves setting up of five new hospitals

New Delhi, Sept 12 (UNI) Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has given in-principle approval for setting up five new hospitals, according to an official release.

These hospitals will be located at Raipur, Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, Gurgaon in Haryana, Tirunelveli and Tiruupur in Tamil Nadu and Haldia in West Bengal.

ESIC has also approved setting up of 10-bedded diagnostic centres at Dehradun and Raipur.

At present, ESIC has 144 hospitals across the country.
