Engine of Jannaik Express derailed, train services disrupted

Samastipur, Sep 12 (UNI) Train services remained disrupted on the Darbhanga-Samastipur-Muzaffarpur route of East Central Railway when engine and a bogie of the Amritsar-bound 5211 UP Jannaik express derailed near Samastipur station today.

East Central sources said the Jannaik Express derailed when it was approaching the Samastipur railway station.The senior officers and technical personnel were making efforts to clear the track and restore train services on the route.

No casualty was reported in the accident, the sources added.
