Decision on Haryana SGPC after Chatha panel report: Hooda

Chandigarh, Sep 12 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the decision to constitute a separate Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee would be taken only after the submission of the report of the committee headed by Agriculture Minister Harmohinder Singh Chatha.

The Chief Minister stated while interacting with representatives of Adhoc Haryana Sikh Gurudawara Prabhandak Committee who called upon him to submit a memorandum for the early formation of separate Haryana Sikh shrine management committee.

He assured them that the State Government was seriously considering the case of constitution of separate committee.

However, all the related aspects would be examined before taking any final decision.

Mr Hooda said the State Government had implemented various welfare schemes keeping in view the interests of all sections of society.

The Chatha Committee was deliberating all all aspects related to the constitution of a separate Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee.

Meanwhile, Mr Chatha said that the report of the committee was in the final stage of preparation. Soon after its completion, it would be submitted to the state government.
