Blueline kills 55-year-old, 18-year-old dies in hit and run case
New Delhi, Sept 12 (UNI) A 55-year-old motorcyclist was crushed to death by a Blueline bus in Sangam Vihar area of South Delhi this morning.
Anwar Ahmed, a resident of Prahaladpur, came under the rear wheel of a Blueline bus after it hit his motorcycle at about 0900 hrs, according to the police.
He was rushed to the AIIMS in a critical condition but was declared brought dead.
Working in a garment factory in neighbouring Gurgaon, the victim was hit by a Blueline plying on route no 717 (Badarpur to Shahbad Dairy).
The driver is absconding but the bus has been impounded, police added.
In another hit-and-run case in Samaypur Badli area of North-West Delhi, 18-year-old Kuldeep was killed after his motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle today.
His 12-year-old niece was also critically injured in the incident.
