Nashik, Sep 12 (UNI) The BJP Anusuchit Jatee (scheduled caste) Morcha will undertake a signature campaign against the recommendations of the Sachar Commission.

The decision was taken in a meeting of the newly-elected office- bearers of the Morcha here today. State unit president of the Morcha and former minister of state for tribal welfare Dilip Kamble presided over the meeting.

Opposing the implementation of Sachar Committee's recommendations, the Morcha observed that it could create division in the society, posing a threat to the unity of the nation. It was a move by the Central Government to lessen the reservations of the dalit community.

Therefore, to oppose this, the state unit of the Morcha will observe a signature drive till October 20 and a memorandum signed by lakhs of people will be given to the President of India. A decision to this effect was taken in the meeting, a Morcha release said here today.

Meanwhile, the Morcha has formed a group to study the problems of the dalit community in Maharashtra. Milind Kamble will be the convenor of the group. Morcha state unit president Dilip Kamble will be the Chairman of the committee, while Sandeep Gavai will be the secretary, the release added.
