40-member delegation visits Anand nagarpallika office

Anand, Sep 11 (UNI) A municipal delegation from Rajasthan and Kerala, comprising 40 members, visited Anand nagarpallika today.

The delegation visited the civic body in the evening and took first hand information about ''area based property tax reform'' and ''double entry account reform.'' It had come as part of the ongoing UN developmental programme for Capacity Building for Decentralised Urban Governance (CBDUG).

The delegation was received by nagarpallika president Jairaj Patel, councillors and officials. The team visited Amul chocolate factory at Mogar and Amul dairy here.

The delegation returned tonight to their states.
