Thirumalai Chem to shut down Ranipet plant for 8 days
Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) Thirumalai Chemicals, a petro-chemical manufacturer, today announced that it will take eight days shut down of Phethalic Plant at Ranipet (Chennai) in Tamil Nadu for minor modifications and revamp during the last week of this month.
After the modification, the production capacity is expected to increase by 7,5OO MT per annum, the Company said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The Company announced next shut down for revamp and modification for 15 days during early January, 2008 in order to increase capacity further by approximately 8,000 MT per annum.
