Pak national sent to seven-day police custody in Tripura

Agartala, Sep 11 (UNI) A local court today sent a suspected Pakistani national to seven-day police custody.

Police here said the accused was arrested on September 7 at Matinagar area along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

The accused, identified as Dildar Hussan, a resident of Karachi, was trying to enter the Indian territory through Tripura, police added.

Police suspected that he might have links with the ISI.

Hussan, who was produced at the Bishalgarah sub-divisional court, admitted that he had gone to Bangladesh and was trying to return to Pakistan via Mumbai and Ajmer.
