10 Bangladesh nationals held at Attari railway station
Attari, Sep 11 (UNI) The Immigration authorities yesterday detained 10 nationals of Bangladesh at the railway station here as they did not possess the requisite travel documents for going to Pakistan on board the Lahore-bound Samjautha express.
The detained included two women and two children.
They had reached here yesterday by the Delhi-Attari special express and were to board the Samjautha Express for Lahore, Immigration officials today stated. As per their passports they had travelled from Dhaka to India by air, officials said.
However while their passports were being scrutinised it was found that they possessed no laid visas to travel to Pakistan.
However the visas for India were found to be in order.
After detailed discussions the Immigration authorities decided to detain them. The Bangladesh embassy in Delhi had been informed of the matter.
