Tamil Nadu: Steel net guard opened

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 10: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) Executive Director R N Mishra today declared open a steel net guard around the temple tower of the famous Sri Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Temple at Gunaseelam, near here, today.

A press release here also said said PWD Executive Engineer K K Planisamy declared open the newly constructed "Thirumanjana Padithurai" (bathing ghat).

The total cost of the two projects was Rs three lakh. A further sum of Rs 2.5 lakh was proposed to be spent on renovation work, it said.
