SRP jawan turns rifle upon colleagues; kills two injures 6

Junagadh, Sep 10 (UNI) Two State Reserve Police (SRP) jawans were killed and six others injured when a colleague opened fire of them indiscriminately at them at Gadu Sherbagh near Chorwad in Junagadh district this morning.

According to Junagadh police control room, the six injured were taken to the Chorwad hospital.

SRP jawan Mohamad Ansari fired upon his colleagues from his service rifle, killing two jawans on the spot and injuring six others, police said.

The reason behind the act is yet not known.

The deceased have been identified as Alarakha Jusab Rajaq (35) and Manharlal Bachubhai Hirpara (35), police control room sources said.
