SJP to decide its fate soon--Murarka
Jaipur, Sep 10 (UNI) The SamajwadiJanta Party (SJP) which had been facing a leadership crisis since the death of its president former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar, will soon decide its future course of action, party leader and former Union Minister Kamal Morarka said.
Talking to UNI in Nawalgarh town of Sikar district yesterday, Mr Morarka said that since the death of Chandrashekhar, the party workers were concerned over their uncertain political future.
To end the uncertainty over the fate of the party, a meeting of senior party leaders and office bearers was held about a month ago but it remained inconclusive, Mr Murarka said.
He said that another meeting of the party executive committee would be held within a month or so to further the discussion. The meeting is likely to be followed by a workers's general session in which a final decision will be taken.
