SEBI suspends BSE Member for a month
Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) today ordered the suspension of the certificate of registration of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) member Pravin Shah for a month.
SEBI whole-time member G Anantharaman, in a order issued today, said that the action against Mr Shah has been initiated for his firm's involvement in dealing in the shares of Himachal Futuristic Communications, Adani, and Global Telesystems.
The SEBI order will come into effect immediately after the expiry of 21 days from today, the SEBI said.
