London, Sep 10 (UNI) Even After being unlucky in the whole Natwest series, with getting out on 90s and adjudged out by poor umpiring decisions, Sachin Tendulkar has jumped nine places to take 12th position in the latest LG ICC ODI Cricket Ratings for batsmen.

Sachin, with scores of 17, 99, 8, 55, 71, 94, 30 in the seven match ODI series against England, earned 17 rating points and is tied with South African all rounder Jacques Kallis on the 12th position.

But while Tendulkar's rise in the rankings is a good news, India cricket fans would not find the rankings so positive with the fact that India has dropped one place in the LG ICC ODI Championship table.

Rahul Dravid's side lost two rating points because of its 4-3 loss to England and that puts India below Pakistan. The two sides both have 108 points but Pakistan is placed higher in the table, in fifth position, when the ratings are recalculated to three decimal places.

Conversely, Paul Collingwood's side, which secured its first victory in a home ODI series since 2003, has gained three rating points and has not only overtaken the West Indies and moved into seventh place, but is also now within three points of India.

Australia that holds the ICC Champions Trophy and ICC Cricket World Cup trophies is five points clear of second-placed South Africa, 21 ahead of India and 24 in front of England.

Team India's captain for the Twenty20 World Cup, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has lost 14 places by scoring only one half century in the decider at Lord's and is at 19th position while teammate Yuvraj Singh remained a non mover despite his good form in the series and is at 18th position.

However, captain Dravid has slipped to 15th position losing two places after failing to score in the last four ODI's of the series with scores of 1, 24, 4, 0.

Australian captain Ricky Ponting continues his dominance in the batting chart followed by England's Kevin Pietersen and Mike Hussey of Australia.

No Indian bowlers finds a place in the top twenty of LG ICC ODI Cricket Ratings for Bowlers with Agarkar losing 12 places to be at 25th position while Zaheer Khan lost three places and is at 27th position.

South African all rounder Shaun Pollock is leading both the bowling chart and LG ICC ODI Cricket Ratings all rounders list with a huge lead of 100 points on the player at the second position in both tables.

In the bowling chart, Pollock is followed by Australia's Nathan Bracken and New Zealand's Shane Bond in second and third positions respectively while in all rounders list, England's Andrew Flintoff is second and Jacques Kallis of South Africa is at the third position.
