NSCN-IM condemns killing of its members

Dimapur, Sep 10: The NSCN-IM has condemned the killing of five of its members and attributed the ''cold-blooded killing'' to the rival NSCN(K).

The ''Ministry of Information and Publicity '' of NSCN-IM in a release here today alleged that five of their members, all belonging to the Tangkhul community, were abducted and ''inhumanly'' killed on September 8.

''What shocked the conscience of the public, who received the bodies at Dimapur, was the utter disregard for a person attached with the God-given assignment as a Chaplain and the treatment normally given to the fairer sex and a mother was just not given. She was just a housewife like most other women with special attachment to the care of the young growing kids who were in need of the mother's care in the most loving manner,'' the release maintained.
