Niren Shah is new MD of Norwest Venture

Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) Niren Shah has joined Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), a global technology venture capital firm, as its managing director.

Mr Shah has fourteen years of operational, finance, investment banking and entrepreneurial experience from leading consumer Internet companies such as eBay, and global financial institutions such as KPMG, a company press release here today said.

Mr Shah will be based at NVP India's Mumbai office, and will focus on local investments in the consumer Internet, digital media, next-generation services and mobile sectors, the release added.
