Mayawati remembers Pt Govind Ballabh Pant

Lucknow, Sep 10 (UNI) Terming Uttar Pradesh's first chief minister Bharat Ratna Pt Govind Ballabh Pant a successful politician and great administrator, present incumbent Mayawati today noted such people would always be remembered.

''Pantji possessed a collosal personality and left no stone unturned for the development of UP,'' Ms Mayawati said after garlanding the statue of the late CM in front of the Vidhan Sabha on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

He would always be remembered for his efforts to maintain the unity and integrity of the country, the BSP supremo observed.
