Bangalore, Sep 10 (UNI) Opposition Leader in Karnataka Legislative Council H K Patil today said that Congress will file a complaint with state Election Commission against the ruling JD(S)-BJP coalition for violating the election model code of conduct by making changes to reservation and delimitation of wards in urban local bodies.
"The government has violated the code by taking such decisions after the announcements of elections to urban local bodies with pre-dated gazette notification," he charged.
Speaking to news persons here he said the government had published the Gazetteer on September 8 with pre-date of September 3.
It was an offense and the EC should take serious note of it, he said.
