JNC trainee workers meet Pondy CM; seek regularisation

Puducherry, Sep 10 (UNI) Seventeen employees of the Jayaprakash Narayan Coooperative (JNC) spinning mills at Karaikal, working as trainees for over five years today called on Chief Minister N Rangasamy and urged for regularisation of service.

Led by Karaikal AIADMK legislator Omalingam, they submitted a memorandum to Mr Rangasamy, who agreed to consider it.

The workers are being paid a monthly salary of Rs 600.
