Jayalalithaa calling the shots on opposition to nuke deal: Dasmunsi

New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi today reiterated his charge that the Opposition had resorted to frequent disruptions in Parliament on Indo-US nuclear deal issue at the instance of AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa resulting in premature ajournment of Parliament today.

''It is not remote, but direct control now,'' Mr Dasmunsi said when asked whether he still persisted with his charge that the ''power from Chennai'' was ''remote controlling'' Opposition on the 123 agreement issue leading to frequent disruptions in Parliament.

The Minister had earlier said that the BJP was listening to ''Chennai'' to reap the reward in future polls.

Meanwhile, Ms Jayalalitha has dissociated herself from Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh's statement that UNPA was not adamant on the demand for JPC on the nuke deal and was ready to have an ''alternative mechanism'' with the government to discuss the issue.
