Couple commits suicide due to financial crisis

New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) Financial crisis led to another death in the capital with a couple allegedly commiting suicide in Malkaganj area of North Delhi.

Kailash (32) and Rajkumari (28) died at the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital late last night during treatment, police said today.

While Kailash was found lying on the bed, his wife Rajkumari was lying on the ground. The door was open when they were rushed to the hospital after someone called his brother to inform of the 'unusual sight'.

They had consumed some poisonous substance.

No suicide note has been found but according to relatives, the family was under severe financial crisis.

Kailash worked in a photo album manufacturing unit and was addicted to alcohol.

The couple has left behind two sons -- Aman (7) and Sumit (4).
