Bassi Pathana-New Delhi bus service to resume after 16 years

Fatehgarh Sahib, Sep 10 (UNI) The Pepsu Road Transport Corporation is all set to resume direct bus-service on the Bassi Pathana-New Delhi road after 16 years.

The directives came in wake of demands raised by the residents of Bassi Pathana during Punjab Transport Minister Mohan Lal's recent visit to Khamano. The residents had submitted a memorandum to the minister and had sought his intervention in restoring the direct bus-service from Bassi Pathana to New Delhi.

As per information, MD of the Corporation has ordered to start bus service on this route from September 15.

The bus will start from Morinda at 0500 hrs and after covering Bassi Pathana, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala it will reach New Delhi at 1115 hrs. The same bus will return from New Delhi after starting journey from 1640 hrs and will reach Morinda at 2240 hrs.
