Al-Badr militant arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 10 (UNI) A militant of Al-Badr was today arrested by security forces in north Kashmir, a senior police officer said.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Sopore, said the militant was arrested in a joint operation by 52 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and state police near Amargarh.

One hand grenade was recovered from the militant identified as Bilal Ahmad alias Abu Waqas, a resident of Shopian.

Abu said he was on way to Lolab, Kupwara from Shopian in south Kashmir.
