Two women injured in firing by youth

New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) Two women were injured when a youth fired at them indiscriminately in Northwest Delhi tonight.

A 45 year old woman Asha Arora and her daughter Neeti were shot at by 25 year old Jagat Shaukeen at their house in Rani Bagh at 2045 hrs, police said.

Both women were admitted to Maharaja Agrasen hospital in Punjabi Bagh where they were reported to be out of danger.

Police said Jagat Shaukeen, a resident of Rishi Nagar, wanted to marry Neeti but she had refused. So, Jagat entered their house tonight and fired at them indiscriminately. Thereafter, he fled the spot.
