5 killed, 25 injured in road accident in Dehra Dun

Dehra Dun, Sep 9 (UNI) At least five people were killed and 25 others injured when a bus fell into a deep gorge at Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand today.

According to Bageshwar DM Shilesh Kumar Bagoli, the accident occurred at Kamedidevi village at about 1430 hrs when the bus (UA-04-4446) of Kumaon Motor Owners Union, heading towards Gangolihaat from Almora, fell into a deep gorge.

The injured have been taken to Bageshwar hospital. Search and rescue operations are going on in full swing.
