The Great Indian Laughter Challenge invites Omer Sharif as judge
Mumbai, Sep 7 (UNI) Famous Pakistani comedian Omer Sharif has been invited by the producers of the comedy show, 'Great Indian Laughter Challenge' to judge the final episode, which will be telecast today and tomorrow.
Sharif will judge the show along with his Indian counterparts, actor and comedian Shekhar Suman and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu.
The Pakistani comedian is known to have changed the face of comedy and stage plays in his country. In the early 1980's, Sharif made a mark as a successful comedian through his landmark plays like 'Bakra Qistoan Per' and 'Buddha Ghar Pe Hai.' A spokesperson from 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' said, ''After years, Indian audience will get the flavour of Omer Sharif's amazing sense of humour and wit. This week we have the final round, wherein seven of our finalists from India and Pakistan will perform to win the title for the next 'Hassi Ka Sikandar'. The aggregate points scored this week and next will help us to select the winner.'' UNI
