Spl. Cell to tackle unemployment in Punjab

Hoshiarpur, Sep 8 (UNI) Keeping in view the grave problem of unemployment, a special cell headed by the Chief Minister had been set up in the Employment Department to generate job opportunities, Advisor to the Punjab Chief Minister, Dr Daljit Singh said here today.

While talking to media persons, Dr Singh said that the giant industrial houses were facing shortage of trained and skilled workers in state and the cell would make arrangements to impart required training according to need of these houses.

The authorities concerned were trying to tie up with these houses in this regard.
