Sindhi movie slated for release on 14

Nagpur, Sep 8 (UNI) 'Pyar Kare Dis' (Feel the Power of Love), the only Sindhi feature film to be produced in the last 7 years and only the 4th in 23 years, is slated for release, including over the Internet, on September 14.

Director Kamal D Nathani told mediapersons on thursday that the movie, shot in Mumbai and Saputara near Nashik in Maharashtra, will be released in digital format in theatres at over 70 places in the country, the largest ever for a Sindhi film. It would also become the first in that language to be released online, he added.

A version with English subtitles would be released for the overseas and online market, Mr Nathani said adding that a version with Hindi subtitles was ready and would be released depending on the response.

The movie has been produced by M Harwani, who had earlier produced 'Pyar Ka Tarana' with Dev Anand, Mr Nathani said. The cast included television stars Jiten Lalwani and Menaka Lalwani in the lead roles, Preeti Jhangiani will have a special appearance, he said. Playbacks have been done by Jagjit Singh, Shaan and Roopkumar Rathod, he added.
