Pharma company to provide free insulin to poor

Bangalore, Sept 8 (UNI) A pharmaceutical company has come forwarded to provide free insulin to poor and needy diabetic children in the city for one year.

Bangalore Diabetes Hospital in a release here said the Mumbai-based M/s USV company had decided to provide insulin to kids in the city for the next one year to reduce their monthly financial burden on purchase of insulin.

About 1,200 children were suffering from diabetes in the city, it said the city diabetes hospital and the USV would jointly start distributing free insulin to poor from tomorrow, the release added.
