Panna, MP, Sep 8 (UNI) Erstwhile Panna princely state's Maharani Dilhar Kumari has taken strong exception to Collector Deepali Rastogi's statement that buildings of former princely state reeked of feudalism and monarchy.

Talking to reporters here yesterday, Ms Kumari described the Collector's statement as irresponsible and sought an apology from her failing which she would write to all 500 erstwhile princely states in the country and launch a campaign.

A senior member of the then Panna royal family and former MP Lokendra Singh said the Collector must leave the Collector's Bungalow, as it was also built by the then Panna rulers.

Ms Rastogi, while addressing foundation ceremony of the new Collectorate Building, had allegedly said new building was being constructed as present building 'Mahendra Bhavan' reeked of feudalism and monarchy.

Industries Minister Jayant Malaiya and Women and Child Development Minister Kusum Singh Mehdele were present.
