Kidnapped siblings rescued in South West Delhi
New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Two siblings, including a 7-year-old girl, have been rescued with the arrest of the alleged kidnapper from South West Delhi, police said today.
Forty-year-old Mohammad Riyaz, a resident of Bihar, was arrested yesterday from Bijwasan railway station while trying to flee from Delhi with both the children, police said.
Riyaz had kidnapped the children to ''take revenge'' from their mother, who had refused to marry him.
The 10-year-old boy and the girl were reported missing from their home since September 6, their mother Manju reported in her complaint.
During interrogation, Riyaz, who has a wife and five children in his native village in Bihar, admitted to being ''obsessed'' with Manju.
