Janardhana Reddy offers prayer at Lord Venkateswara Temple

Tirumala, Sep 8 (UNI) Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Member of Parliament Nedurmali Janardhana Reddy and his wife offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara today.

Mr Reddy and his wife, Women Development and Child Welfare Minister N Rajyalakshmi miraculously escaped a landmine attack near Vakada of Kota mandal in Nellore district yesterday morning when they were proceeding to Tirupati to Sri Venkateswara University.

The Chairman presented prasadam and a portrait of Lord to the couple following the 'darshan' and the temple priests blessed them chanting vedic hymns.
