today.
Addressing newsmen here today to announce party's preparedness for the coming local bodies elections in the state, Mr Gopal said that Mr Sindhia, who had fell out with JD(S) supremo and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda would extensively campaign for the party candidates in the election.
"Recently Mr Sindhia had attended party's rally organised at Bidar and also addressed the gathering. "In the coming local bodies elections Mr Sindhia would undertake extensive campaign for the success of BSP candidates," he said.
Mr Gopal also informed that BSP would contest on its strength in the local bodies elections and expressed confidence that BSP would emerge as deciding factor in various City Corporations and Municipalities.
He said that similar to last assembly elections, no clear verdict would be arrived at in the local bodies elections as well and BSP would play key role in major parties gain majority in the local bodies, he said.
Expressing confidence that the Uttar Pradesh experiment in providing equal opportunity to all sections of the people in the society would also to be followed in Karnataka. "The Muslims would get their share of party tickets according to their population" he said.
Mr Gopal also informed that more number of people and leaders of various political parties have expressed their desire to join the party. "The party would emerge closer to form government after the next assembly elections in Karnataka" Mr Gopal said.
