Dead body found in water tank, water supply stopped at Howrah

Howrah, Sep 7 (UNI) A decomposed body was found in a water tank of Padmapukur water plant station under Howrah Municipal Corporation here tonight.

Following the incident, District Magistrate(DM) Khalil Ahmad asked the people under the corporation not to consume the water already supplied.

"There will not be any water supply till noon tomorrow," announced Mr Ahmad saying that water would be supplied only after proper treatment.

Investigation is on in this connection, said police.
