Daughter arrested on mother's complaint

Fatehgarh Sahib, Sept 8 (UNI) A woman was arrested on the complaint of her mother, who alleged that her daughter and son-in-law had duped her by selling her land.

The Mandi Gobindgarh police has registered a case and started investigations into the complaint of Sardar Kaur, a resident of Fatehgarh Neaua village, who claimed that her daughter Jasbir Kaur along with her husband Parmeet, a resident of Kotla Chak, Khanna had sold off her land by committing forgery.

Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Nilabh Kishore, whom the woman had appraoched with her complaint, directed the Mandi Gobindgarh police to register the case.

While the daughter was arrested by the police, her husband was still at large.
