Ex gratia to families of Rajasthan accident: CM

Jaipur, Sep 8: The Rajasthan government has announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 50,000 each to the families of those killed and Rs 10,000 to the injured in the truck-trailer accident at Dasuri-Ki-Nal in Rajsamand district today.

Udaipur Inspector General (IG) of Police Rajeev Dhasot said Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has announced the compensation.

Till now 80 deaths have been confirmed while about 40 injured were admitted at hospitals in Charbuja, Dasuri and Kakroli in Rajsamand distrcit Five seriously injured in the accident have been rushed to the MB hospital in Udaipur.

Menwhile, Rajasthan government has ordered an enquiry in to the accident by Udaipur Divisional Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh.
