Three notorious criminals arrested

Supaul, Sep 7 (UNI) Police today arrested three notorious criminals near Masumat Pokhar under town police station in the district.

District Police Superintendent Shyam Kumar said that acting on a tip-off, a local police team raided a private hostel and nabbed the three criminals.

During their search, two foreign-made revolvers, 28 live cartridges, three cell phones, two sim cards and Rs 10,000 in cash were also recovered from them, he added.

''More than 20 cases relating to bank dacoity, murder, loot and extortion are pending against the arrested,'' Mr Kumar said adding that interrogation was on.
