case.
The matter will be heard by a bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan.
Rubina, Essa and Yusuf Memon, who have been convicted of abetment and conspiracy, moved the apex court challenging the Mumbai TADA court verdict convicting them in the case.
Essa and Yusuf brothers of prime accused Tiger Memon, and Tiger Memon's sister-in-law Rubina have been awarded life sentences.
Rubina, wife of Tiger Memon's brother Suleiman Memon, was not given death because she was a woman. She has been found guilty of allowing her Maruti van for transporting weapons and arms and also allowing her flat at Al Hussaini building for the conspiracy meeting to carry out the terror acts.
Yusuf and Essa have been found guilty of allowing their flat at Al Hussaini building to be used for conspiracy meetings.
Essa is diagnosed to be suffering from brain tumour as well as morbid obesity, a reason for the trial court to award him life term instead of death penalty.
Yusuf, the youngest of the Memon brothers, was also spared the death penalty and awarded life term on health grounds as he is a known schizophrenic needing constant medical attention.
Yakub Memon has been awarded the death sentence in the case.
Tiger Memon has been declared absconding, while his father Abdul Razzak Memon passed away during the trial.
