Salman granted permission to go abroad

Jodhpur, Sep 7: The Rajasthan High Court today granted permission to go abroad to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is sentenced to five year jail term in the infamous Chinkara poaching case. Salman is on bail after his revision petition against the sentence by District and Sessions court was admitted by the Rajasthan High court.

He was released after seven days in Jodhpur central jail on personal surety of Rs 1 lakh and two sureties of Rs 50,000 each on August 31. The court had then restricted him from going abroad.

Salman's local counsel Hastimal Saraswat today moved an application for permission to leave the country. The court granted him the permision for the period from September 13 to October 15.

The actor has to personally appear in the court on October 24 in Jodhpur during the hearing of the case.
