Phundkar alleges irregularities in farmers' package distribution
Mumbai, Sep 7 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Pandurang Phundkar today demanded a white paper on the implementation of the Rs 3750 crore Prime Minister's package distributed in the six districts of Vidarbha.
Talking to reporters here, the leader alleged irregularities in the implementation and added that despite the package, farmers were still committing suicide.
Mr Phundkar also alleged irregularities in the distribution of seeds and pesticides.
