Night rally in Kashmir after 18 years

Srinagar, Sep 7 (UNI) For the first time after 18 years, a night rally by a political party was organised in strife-torn Kashmir.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) organised a public meeting in Chattisinghpora village of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.

Senior PDP leader and Minister of State for Power and Health Peer Mohammad Hussain addressed the rally at the village, which witnessed the gruesome massacre of 36 Sikhs on March 20, 2000, the day when then US President Bill Clinton arrived in India.
