Maruti eyeing Israeli market for expansion

New Delhi, Sept 7: India's top car maker, Maruti Udyog Ltd, is eyeing the Israeli market as it mulls expansion plans amid robust growth. Maruti recently announced its plans to expand its Indian operations to export cars to Europe by 2009.

Maruti Udyog Ltd is one of India's leading automobile manufacturers and the market leader in the car segment, both in terms of volume of vehicles sold and revenue earned.
