Light drizzle brings relief to people in Patna

Patna, Sep 7 (UNI) Slight drizzle in the morning today brought much needed relief to the people here and its neighbouring area from the sultry and humid climate persisting in the last few days.

The total rainfall of 0.2 mm, recorded by the local Met office, slashed the day's maximum temperature by about two degrees from yesterday's 32 degrees celsius. The minimum was pegged at 25.7 degrees celsius, while the relative maximum humidity was 89 per cent.

The present condition is likely to prevail in the next 24 hours with possibility of few spells of shower during the day, which might bring the temperature further down, the Met office here said.
