GV Films contemplating setting up 'studio cities' in TN
Chennai, Sep 7 (UNI) GV Films Limited, engaged in the business of films and theatricals, is contemplating setting up ''studio cities'' in tier II towns across Tamil Nadu, involving a total investment of about Rs 600 crore.
Talking to mediapersons here, GV Films Vice-President S Venkataramani said the ''studio cities'' comprising multiplex with four or five screens, food and shopping malls would be set up in 23 tier II towns in the state.
''We are planning to establish the cities, each involving with an investment of Rs 20 to Rs 40 crore in three years time and the first studio city will be opened in Thanjavur by the end of this month'', he said.
