Five killed, 11 injured in road accident

Jaipur, Sep 7 (UNI) Five people were killed and 11 people injured in a collision between a truck and a 'Jugad' (motorised contraption used for local transport) on Jaipur-Ajmer portion of the NH 79 this morning.

Police said the accident occured near Nyara village, when the 'jugad', carrying about 20 devotees, was returning from a religious function in the neighbourhood Ram Devra temple.

The injured have been admitted at the Nazirabad government hospital.
