Devotees escape unhurt as tipper rams into mosque in Kashmir
Srinagar, Sep 7 (UNI) Several devotees escaped unhurt early this morning when a rashly driven tipper rammed into a mosque in border area of Uri in north Kashmir.
Besides causing major damage to the mosque, many poultry birds were killed in the accident, police said.
Two shops were also damaged by the tipper, bearing registration number JK05-39, at Nowshera under the jurisdiction of Boniyar police station in Uri area, they added.
Police have registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a load carrier hit and wounded a motorcyclist, Javaid Ahmad Thoker, at Reshipora in Zainapora area.
