BSP to hold massive rally to mark Kanshi Ram's Ist death anniversary

Lucknow, Sep 7 (UNI) The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) will hold a massive party meeting here on October 9 to commemorate the first death anniversary of party founder Kanshi Ram.

During a meeting of the party leaders here today, BSP president and chief minister Mayawati announced holding of 'Savdhan Raho, Agey Barho'(be cautious, move ahead) meeting on the first death anniversary of Kanshi Ram.

Ms Mayawati also asked the party leaders and workers to make this meeting a grand success by 'tan, man and dhan'(physical presence, dedication and money).

In the meeting, the CM also described about the party's success in the just-concluded by-elections in three assembly seats.

She said her party lost the Gunnaur seat to Samajwadi Party by a slender margin and due to voters inclination towards Mulayam Singh Yadav after he attached his pride with the seat.

The BSP had won the Farrukhabad and Suar Tanda seats in the bypolls.
