Arshhiya to set up CFS near JNPT at Rs 350 cr

Mumbai, Sep 7 (UNI) Arshhiya Technologies International has received the government nod to set up a Rs 350 crore container freight station (CFS) near Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT).

The proposed station would be used for handling import and export cargo, a press release here said.

Spread over 41 acres, the proposed CFS along with a logistics park will consist of non-bonded warehousing area, empty container storage and refurbishment yard and will facilitate the export and import community, and shipping lines by providing one-stop-shop solutions in terms of customs brokerage, sea and land transportation, storage and refurbishing marine containers, the release said.

''This is our first venture into the infrastructure assets sector and going forward we are looking at investing more in CFS and ICDs and other strategic assets to support the Supply Chain Sector,'' said Ajay S Mittal, Managing Director, Arshhiya Technologies.
