75 ITIs in minority, SC dominated areas in UP

Lucknow, Sep 7 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government will set up 75 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in minority and SC dominated areas in the state.

State labour and employment minister Vedram Bhati has already directed concerned District Magistrates (DMs) concerned to provide land for the proposed ITIs.

Minority and SC dominated areas will get 25 and 50 ITIs respectively.

He said cooperation had also been sought from local legislators, so that the work on ITIs takes off smoothly and swiftly.
