UP reserves seats for SC/ST, OBC in executive boards of medical univ

Lucknow, Sep 6 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to reserve seats for SC/ST and OBCs in the executive board of Chatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University(CSMMU) and Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences(SGPGI).

The decision was taken by the state cabinet here yesterday.

According to the new directive, now two professors/assistant professors/lecturers each from the SC/ST and OBC category will be appointed in the executive board of CSMMU. Similarly in the SGPGI, one professor/ assistant professor/ reader each of the SC/ST and OBC will be appointed.

In the dental faculty of CSMMU, one seat each will be reserved for SC/ST and OBC.
